Adele Louise Roberson

Adele Louise Roberson, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in Weatherford, OK. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM in Texhoma Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 16, 2009 at First Christian Church, Texhoma, with Rev. Mike Hughes, pastor of the church officiating, assisted by Rev. Doyle Warren, pastor of Southwestern Christian Church of Weatherford, Okla. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Adele Louise Roberson was born August 30, 1920 in Pratt, Kansas to John Carl and Leta Dora Bergner. On October 20, 1946 she married Jay Dee JD Roberson in Liberal, KS. He preceded her in death June 17, 1990. She had been a resident of Texhoma since 1920 and was a homemaker. Adele was a member of First Christian Church of Texhoma. Survivors include; sons, Dee Roberson and wife, Evonne of Edmond, OK, and Joel Roberson and wife, Lynn of Buford, GA; daughters, Jennifer Pool and husband, Bob, Janet Grabeal , all of Weatherford, OK, and Kay Dickson and husband, Butch of Texhoma; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
