Aeriel Cherriss Christman

Aeriel Cherriss Christman, 32 of Dumas passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. A Rosary will be recited at 6 oclock in the evening on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Aeriel was born on April 21, 1988 in Dumas, TX to Alex and Estella (Olivas) Rivera. She graduated from Dumas High School in 2006 and while in school she lettered in tennis for 3 years. Aeriel worked for Amarillo National Bank and later AIG. Her favorite pastime was listening to 70s and 80s music and loved filling her time with crochet. A hobby her aunt taught her at a young age. She also loved riding 4 wheelers. Aeriel was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be profoundly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Aeriel is survived by her parents; children: Deighan Cheri, Rylee Van Zandt, and Aila Grace all of the home; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. The family suggests, with gratitude, memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
