Andrea San Miguel Galvan

Andrea San Miguel Galvan, 90 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Hobbs, NM. The funeral service will be held at 1 oclock in the afternoon on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at His Church parking lot. Due to current restrictions on gatherings because of public health, Andreas friends are invited to come and stay in their cars while the service is broadcast on Facebook Live by His Church. Pastor Frank Gordoa will officiate the service from the parking lot. Burial will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. The family will hold a private rosary on Tuesday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Andrea was born on February 9, 1930 to Fernando and Maria De Jesus San Miguel in Asherton, TX. She was united in marriage to Demetrio Galvan on December 30, 1948. Andrea was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she served with the Guadalupanas. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: George, Richard and Michael Galvan; brothers: Jesus and Fernando San Miguel. Andrea is survived by her sons: Frank Galvan, Demetrio Galvan Jr. and Chris Galvan all of Amarillo, TX; daughters: Susie Franco and husband Tony of Hobbs, NM and Donna Vigil Estrada of Dumas, TX; 28 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; sisters: Angela San Miguel and Juana Lozano; brothers: Martin San Miguel and Johnny San Miguel.
