Angela Gallegos De Zubia

Angela Gallegos De Zubia, 91 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022.  The rosary will be recited at 6 o'clock in the evening on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Morrison Memorial Chapel.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Angela was born on June 27, 1931 in Ciudad Escalon Chihuahua, Mexico to Felipe Gallegos and Martina Licon.  She married David Zubia in Mexico and he preceded her in death.  Angela was an excellent homemaker who loved her grandkids and enjoyed family gatherings.  She also enjoyed cooking and sewing.  Angela was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children: Regino, Marcos, Roberto, Lidia, Alberto and Adela; grandchildren: Sebastian Zubia and Roberto Zubia.

Angela is survived by her sons: Felipe Zubia of Mexico, David Zubia of El Paso, TX, and Adolfo Zubia of Dumas, TX;  daughters: Maria Del Refugio Zubia of Mexico, Manuela Zubia of Midland, TX, Evangelina Portillo of El Paso, TX and Marisela Zubia of Dumas, TX; 42 grandchildren and 77 great grandchildren.
