Angelica Vera

Angelica Vera, 26 of Cactus, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012. The Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus, with Father Carlos Castro as celebrant. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Angelica was born on March 5, 1986 in Juarez, Mexico to Pablo and Lucia Duran Vera. She grew up in Cactus, and was a graduate of Dumas High School. Angelica was employed at JBS Swift in Cactus and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was a beloved daughter and sister, and a very devoted mother to her son, Roberto. Angelica loved life and always had a bright smile. She will be deeply missed by her family, coworkers and many friends. Angelica leaves behind her parents, Pablo Lucia Vera of Cactus her son, Roberto Vasquez of Cactus three sisters, Alma Rodriguez and husband Alfonzo of Liberal, Patricia Zapata and husband Bernabe of Cactus, and Marisela Juarez and husband Damian of Gruver three brothers, Pablo Vera and wife Alma, and Pedro Vera and wife Tara, all of Dumas, and Angel Vera of Cactus numerous other family members and many friends.
