Ann Harkrider

Ann Harkrider, 82 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. A Graveside service will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Braden White, her grandson, officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 o’clock to 6 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Ann was born on June 24, 1940, in Timothy, TN to Tony and Sara (Smith) Everett. At a young age the family moved to Stratford where she graduated high school. She married Lee Martin Harkrider on May 16, 1969, in Dumas, TX. Ann worked for several banks in the area, the City of Dumas and eventually Coffey Tire as a bookkeeper. Ann was a talented seamstress and excellent cook. She was a loving wife, mother, and even better Memaw. Ann was of Christian faith and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter: Haven Emily White.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Lee of the home; daughters: Toni Bain and husband David, Trenna White and husband Roger all of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Olivia Martinez, Jonas Bain, Keegan Bain, April Dirks, Braden White, Cody White; 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. 

The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, 2901 N. Soncy, Amarillo, TX, 79124.
