Annabelle Testerman, 89, a long time resident of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. The celebration of Annabelles life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 24, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church in Dumas. Rev. Kevin Anderson, pastor of First Assembly of God Church in Stratford, will be officiating, assisted by Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dumas. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Annabelle was born on June 7, 1921 in LeFlora, Oklahoma to Oliver and Nora Lindsey. She married J H Jude Testerman on April 8, 1939 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2005.
Annabelle loved good food and having family together. She enjoyed her church family and socializing. Annabelle had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Her hobbies included quilting and crocheting. she was a beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and her children and grandchildren were her whole life.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband Jude one daughter, Carmen Testerman 2 grandchildren, Wayne and Stacey Testerman and 2 greatgrandchildren, Thomas Testerman and Tyler Jackson Troutman.
Annabelles legacy lives on in her children: sons, Jack Testerman and wife Barbara of Phoenix, AZ, Tommy Testerman and wife Jeanne of Green Valley, AZ,and Gene Testerman and wife Sue of Dumas daughters, Lois Dick of Williams, AZ, and Karen Long and husband Bobby of Denver City, TX and 9 grandchildren, Karla, Brian, Travis, Jenifer, Brandee, Tiffany, Ricky, Juanita and Kevin. She also had 15 greatgrandchildren, and 6 great greatgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Morrison Funeral Directors.
