Anthoney Tony Hugg

Anthoney "Tony" Hugg, 70 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Tony was born on January 30, 1950 in Dumas, TX to James Noah and Jonni Ruth (Ashworth) Hugg. The family moved when Tony was young but eventually moved back to Dumas and Tony graduated from Dumas High School. Tony married Jo Ann Gregory in August of 1968 in Dumas TX. Tony worked for Houlette Body Shop, Swift for a couple of years and eventually went into maintenance and worked at Canyonview Nursing Home and later Coon Memorial Hospital District. Tony enjoyed computers and was very knowledgeable on them. He also loved every Labrador retriever he ever had. Tony collected old tools and was a very good handyman. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister: Pamela Vetter. Tony is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of the home; sons: Brice Bronson Hugg and wife Katie of Connecticut, Christopher Conan Hugg and wife Kelly of Amarillo,TX, Drew Don Hugg of Dumas, TX, Michael Wayne Gregory of Woodward, OK; grandchildren: Cody Gregory of Beaver, OK, Shaye Gregory of Oklahoma City, OK, Shawn Hugg of Dumas, TX, Bodie Hugg of Denton, TX, Jade Adream Napoles of Albuquerque, NM, Zaccary Hugg of Beaver, OK, Levi Braxton Hugg of Beaver OK, Skyler Turnage of Amarillo, TX; sister Denise Blakemore and Moe of Amarillo, TX.
