Arlene Goats

Arlene Goats 93 passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 in Dumas, Texas. Services will be held at 3:30 PM, Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Damon Admire and Rodger Lewis, great nephews officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Arlene Goats was born July 3, 1914 in Joy, Texas to Albert and Lillie Maddox. On November 12, 1932 she married Robert Jack Goats who preceded her in death in 1976. Arlene and Jack were house parents at Abilene Boys Ranch, and American Legion Home School for Children at Ponca City, OK. She had also worked as an entre cook at Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Arlene had been a resident of Dumas since 1979 and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include; three sisters, Ola Minton of Dumas, Lucy Floyd of Mena Arkansas and Zona Deloof of Phoenix, Arizona. Memorial may be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 2nd. Dumas, TX 79029.
