Arturo Duran Ortiz

Arturo Duran Ortiz, 42 of Stratford, TX passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cactus, with Father Victor Hugo Andrade as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Arturo was born on December 26, 1979 in Delicias, Chihuahua, MX to Modest Duran Moya and Maria De Los Angels Ortiz Borrego. In December 1996 he was united in marriage to Elva Lidia Duran Valdez in Juarez, MX. Arturo was employed as a maintenance supervisor for Farias Dairy. In his spare time, he enjoyed to casinos and fishing. Arturo also loved to sing. Fewer things made him happier than being surrounded by his family. He never liked to be by himself he always wanted his children and grandchildren near him. Arturo was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends.

Arturo is survived by his wife, Elva of the home; daughters: Paola Guadalupe Duran Duran and Fabiola Ortiz both of Dumas, TX; sons: Arturo Duran, Jr. of Dalhart, TX, Yahir Duran of Dumas, TX, and Diego Duran of Stratford, TX; and 8 grandchildren.
