Aurora San Miguel Carbajal

Aurora San Miguel Carbajal, 71 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019. An Evening Service is scheduled for 7 oclock on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Templo Libertad. The funeral service is scheduled for 1 oclock in the afternoon on Wednesday, March 20 at Templo Libertad with Leo Estrada, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Aurora was born on April 30, 1947 in Laredo, TX to Juan and Andrea (Santana) San Miguel. She was a long-time member of the community. Aurora married her husband Pablo Carbajal, Sr. in 1963 in Dumas; he preceded her in death on October 2014. She enjoyed playing bingo and Texas lottery as well as gardening and singing. Aurora loved to minister the Word and was a member of Templo Libertad. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters. Aurora is survived by her two daughters: Andrea Estrada and husband Leo of Dumas, TX, Linda C. Medina of Amarillo, TX; three sons: Pablo Carbajal, Jr. and wife JoAnn of Bangs, TX, Raul Carbajal and wife Estella of Aurora, CO, Nathan Carbajal and wife Veronica of Dumas, brothers and sisters: Ricardo San Miguel of Lavern, KS, Steve San Miguel of Lubbock, Raquel San Miguel of Dalhart, and Estella San Miguel of Albuquerque, NM; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
