Barbara Ann Griffith

Barbara Ann Griffith, 58 of Guymon, OK, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Fobbs officiating.  Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.  The family will recieve friends from 6 o'clock until 7 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at the funeral home.  

Barbara was born on June 24, 1964 in Ft. Worth, TX to Jerral and Dorothy (Roberts) Griffith. At a young age Barbara and her family moved to Sunray, TX where she attended school and graduated from Sunray High. For most of her adult life she was a homemaker but eventually she went to work at Wal-mart. For Barbara her family was her life; they gave her purpose. She was of Baptist faith and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Kenneth; nephew Christopher.

Barbara is survived by her son: Blake Tate of Dumas, TX; daughter: Brittney Carter and husband Josh of Hugoton, KS; grandchildren: Hunter Tate, Lydia Tate, and Ethan Cantrell; sisters: Cynthia Griffith of Amarillo, TX and Anita Landess and husband Tony of Guymon, OK.
