Barbara Ann Rinestine

Barbara Ann Rinestine, 83 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Barbara was born on November 20, 1937, in Blair, OK to Otto and Alma (Snow) Swilling. She grew up in Blair and eventually moved to Tucumcari where she graduated high school. She married Bill Rinestine in 1959; he preceded her in death in 2019. Barbara was an avid turtle and antique collector. She loved garage sales and thrift shops. Her greatest passion in life was her family. Her number one job was being a “Nanny”. She took excellent care of her grandchildren. She was a precious wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her husband Bill, she was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara is survived by daughters: LaTonya Boyd and husband Phillip and Tamara Robertson and husband Dale all of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Tara Boyd and Travis Gibbins, Tiffany Blue, Dallas Robertson, Kasey Mader and husband Myles, Gavin Robertson and wife Evan; great-grandchildren: Keelei Boyd, Sawyer Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Maddox Blue, Jaxon Blue, Townes Robertson, Ila Mader, and one on the way; brother: Gary Swilling of Cedar Park, TX; sister: Wanda Beck and husband Jerry of Lake Tanglewood, TX.
