Bartola M. Diaz

Bartola M. Diaz, 83, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 in Dumas. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cactus with Fr. Marcos Gonzalez pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Bartola M. Diaz was born September 27, 1926 in Durango, Mexico to Jose and Conrrada Munoz. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and crochet. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Diaz had been a resident of Cactus since 1985 and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincente Diaz in 2004. Survivors include; her children, MaLuz Diaz, Pomposo Diaz, Juana Ledesma, Petra Sarmiento, Luisa Diaz, Francisco Diaz, Bartola Avalos, Ignacio Diaz, all of Cactus and Enedine Jimenez of Amarillo; 26 grandchildren.
