Bennie Euline Hall, 89, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Pueblo, Colorado. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 17, 2009 at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Bennie Euline Hall was born May 23, 1920 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to Ben and Della Harrison. In 1942 she married Buster Hall and he preceded her in death in 1978. Bennie married again in 1986 to John Harmon and he preceded her in death in 1995. She had been a resident of Dumas since July 1953. In her younger years she was a homemaker and enjoyed yodeling, singing and dancing. For the past 9 years Bennie lived in a nursing home where she enjoyed bingo, crafts, gospel singing and going for walks. She was the happiest when spending time with her family. She had lots of friends everywhere she went because she never met a stranger. Bennie enjoyed the simple things in life like her hats, strawberry ice cream, pepperoni pizza, and going for drives. She loved her Lord and often could be heard singing hymns like When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder and The Old Rugged Cross. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Wayne Hall; brother Riggs Harrison, sisters Esther Penner, Juanita Sanders and Nolan Harrison; grandsons, Michael Eugene Wright, James Don Wright Jr. and Scotty Dean Wright; and great granddaughters, Shelby Davis and Kirsten Wright and granddaughter, Beverly Bennett. Survivors include; son, Gene Hall and wife, DeLynn of Waco; daughters, Barbara Wright and husband, Don of Muldrow, Okla, Linda Ely and husband, Larry of Dumas, Judy Cummins and husband, Larry of Pueblo, Colo, Janet Pomykala and husband, Bob of Baytown; sons-in-law, Fate Bennett of Fritch and Jackie Davis of Dumas; brother, Harry Harrison of Oklahoma City; sister, Dolly Luffman of Midland; 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E 2nd, Dumas, Texas 79029. The family will be at 525 N. Maddox in Dumas.
