Bernice Seggerman

Bernice Seggerman 82 passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Dumas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 21, 2008 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Steve Simpson, pastor of Grace Thru Faith Fellowship officiating, assisted by Art Lynch, minister of First Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Bernice Seggerman was born September 29, 1925 in Andover, South Dakota to Fred and Alida Baril. With her husband, they owned and operated a television repair shop in Denver, Colorado. Bernice had been a resident of Artesia, New Mexico before moving to Dumas 2 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Seggerman and son, Ronnie Seggerman. Survivors include; daughter, Shirley Thorpe of Loganville, GA; sons, Alan Saxton of Oklahoma City, OK. and Chris Seggerman of Denver, Co; brother, Roy Baril of Dumas, TX; sisters, Betty Burrow of Demming, NM, Lois George of Walsenburg, Co, and Delores Harris of Boulder City, NV; and six grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 2nd, Dumas, TX, 79029. The family will be at 1501 Fox in Dumas.
