Betty F Mills

Betty F. Mills, 85 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Hunt United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Hight, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock in the evening on Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Betty was born on October 6, 1931 to Russell and Nora 'Babe' (Parish) Davis. Betty had lived in Dumas and Lamesa throughout her life and ran a childcare center in Lamesa. She loved to cook and embroider. Betty was very devoted to her family; she especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Hunt United Methodist Church and will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; son: Rusty Ball; and sister: Louise Fulton. Betty is survived by her daughters: Debbie Willis and husband Danny, Chris Voelker and husband Dennis all of Dumas; sister: Ada Stone and husband Bill of Sunray; brother: Jimmy Davis and wife Cathy of Lamesa; grandchildren: Greg Willis and wife Mandi of Amarillo, Dusty Holt and husband Bill, Brady Voelker and wife Stephanie, D.R. Willis all of Dumas; great-grandchildren: Bodie Hugg of Denton, Austin Voelker of Dumas, Makenzie Willis of Lubbock, Trenton Voelker of Dumas, Gunnar Willis, Amara Willis, and Kirt Willis all of Amarillo; several other extended family members.
