Betty Jo Gage Phillips, 95 of Masterson, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021.Graveside Service will be at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Betty was born on December 25, 1925 in San Saba, TX to Joseph and Inez (Long) Gage. She married the love of her life, David Ollie Phillips on June 6, 1945 in Llano TX; he preceded her in death on June 14, 1996. She and Ollie had been in the community since 1968. She enjoyed following and supporting Ollie during his roping years. Betty also loved to sew and canning. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: David Lester Lee. Betty is survived by daughters: Cheryl Williford of Masterson, TX, Phyllis Havens and husband Bill of Masterson, TX; grandchildren: Joe W. Lee, Jr. and wife Christy of Baytown, TX, David Vandiver of Midland, TX; great grandchildren: Bailey Byford and husband Blake of Baytown, TX, Blake Lee of Baytown, TX, Britney Lee of Baytown, TX, Austin Vandiver of Midland, TX; great-great-grandson: Charles Byford of Baytown, TX; sister: Elaine Grimes of San Saba, TX. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Olivias Angels, 500 S Taylor #223, Amarillo TX 79101.
