Beverly Joann Pemberton

Beverly Joann Pemberton, 93 of Stratford, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Stratford Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Phillips, officiating. The arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Beverly was born on April 6, 1929 in Plains, KS to Leo and Sybil Smith.  Her mother passed away when she was a young girl and her father later married Darlene who became her mother. After high school, she graduated from Colorado Women’s College and later from Texas Tech University.   She married Kenneth Pemberton on December 31, 1950 in Stratford, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Joy Smith; grandson: Nick Cozart.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Kenneth of the home; daughter: Kendra Culp of Tulsa, OK; son: Steve Pemberton and wife Tana of Stratford; sister: Delores Beedy of Spearman, TX; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
