Bonnie Maye Snell, 81, of Dumas, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 in the morning on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Life Tabernacle Church with Rev. Mark Wallis, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Bonnie was born May 27, 1935 in Clayton, NM to Frank and Verna (Lechner) Barnhart. Bonnie was raised in Sedan, NM, and moved to Dumas in 1954. She was united in marriage to her husband Tommie Snell on January 1, 1960 in Dalhart, TX; he preceded her in death in 1997. Bonnie was a member of Life Tabernacle Church in Dumas and she dedicated her life to her faith and her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by her parents; brother: Marvin Barnhart; sister: Doreen Barnhart; and grandson: Cody Crossland. Bonnie is survived by her son: Charles Snell and wife Donna of Amarillo, TX; daughters: Connie Crossland and husband Eddie of Dumas, TX and Mary Ann Wilson of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren; Kyla McAnally and husband Matt of Bushland, TX, Brady Crossland and wife Melissa of Dumas, TX, Kelsey Foreman and husband Garret of Abilene, TX; and sister Ruby Bolton of Waskom, TX. The family suggest memorials be made to Gideon's International, PO Box 2304, Amarillo, TX 79105.
