Brenda Kay Chandler

Brenda Kay Chandler, 69, of Stratford, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Lamar, Colorado. Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11 o'clock in the morning at Texhoma Cemetery in Texhoma. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Brenda was born May 27, 1947, in Schulenburg, TX to George and Deda (Anderson) Billeck. She married Frank Chandler in Lamar, Co, on October 18, 1993. They were married for 23 years. He preceded her in death in January of 2017. Brenda retired from working in the agriculture industry and spent many years raising a family and being a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stratford, TX. Brenda will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to recognize the support and care of the Lamar Area Hospice. In addition to her husband, Brenda was preceded in death by her parents George and Deda Billeck. She is survived by sons: Monty Crist and wife Sandra of Lakeside, CA; Brian Crist and wife Alicia of Lamar, CO; and Justin Crist of Rocky Ford, CO; brother: Charles Billeck of Odessa, TX; sister: Cheron Singleton of Longview, TX; Brenda is also survived by her grandchildren: Sydney Crist, Tanner Crist, Taryn Crist, Brittni Crist, Austin Crist, Lynlee Crist, and MJ Crist. The family suggests memorials be made to Lamar Area Hospice, 108 West Olive Street, Lamar, Colorado 81052.
