Calletano Kelly OValle 84 of Dumas passed away Monday, July 2, 2007. Rosary will be said Friday, July 6, 2007, at 7:00 PM in Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 10:30 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Albaladejo, pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Calletano Kelly OValle was born November 22, 1922 in Pearsall, Texas to Estanislado and Petra OValle. On November 21, 1946 he married Delia Chapa in Pearsall. He retired from the City of Dumas where he had worked for 21 years. Kelly was a former longtime employee of Dumas Cattle Feeders. He had been a resident of Dumas since 1960 and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Delia of the home; two daughters, Susan O'Valle and Edelmira Eldi Melies both of Dumas; two brothers, Samuel OValle and wife, Piedad of Modesto, CA. and Elias OValle of Pearsall, TX; sister, Minerva Guevara of Standon, Tx; four grandchildren, PJ and wife, Erika, Kelly, T.J., and Rochelle; and four great-grandchildren. Close family members, Paul Melies, Sr. and Raymund Cobos. The family will be at 809 Shamrock in Dumas.
