Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrara, 62 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012. The Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church in Dumas. The Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church with Father Maria Joseph Pudhota as celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Carolina was born on September 16, 1949 to Catarino and Carolina Gonzalez. She was united in marriage to Raul Herrera in Colorado. Carolina was a loving and devoted homemaker, who loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed listening to music. Her favorite pastime was playing bingo, and she attended every area game that she could until her illness prevented her from doing so. Carolinas greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She had been a resident of Dumas for four years. She was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Carolina leaves behind her husband, Raul of the home one son, Catarino Herrera of McAllen one daughter, Laura Herrera of Dumas grandchildren, Chandria Herrera and Elyiah Herrera, both of Dumas and numerous brothers and sisters. The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 409 S. Maddox in Dumas.
