Catarina Katie Gonzales

Catarina "Katie" Gonzales, 57 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Memorial Services will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Morrison Memorial Chapel under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. "Katie" was born on August 6, 1961 in Miles, TX to Miguel and Gavina (Garcia) Mendoza. "Katie" was an unique lady and a "one of a kind". She was always the life of the party and up for a good time. She was well known as the favorite aunt in her family. She was of Christian faith and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Victor, Tommy and Tony. She is survived by her fiance: Rogelio Flores of Dumas, TX; children: Jessica Gonzales Brocamontes and husband Noe and Santos Ray Gonzales all of Dumas, TX, Scott Allan Hories and Anthony Ruben Ramirez and wife Stephanie De La Cruz Ramirez, all of Cheyenne, OK; brothers: Miguel Mendoza and Alfred Mendoza, both of San Angelo, TX, Richard Mendoza of Amarillo, TX; sisters: Mary Estrada, Gracie Zubia, both of Dumas, Vivian Martinez and husband Frank of Amarillo,TX; grandchildren: Gabriel Gonzales, Keithan Gonzales, Angel Leal, Marcelin Leal, Esperanza Leal, Emmanuel Leal, Izrael Leal, Kiah Horeis, Anthony Ray Horeis, Allysandra Ramirez, Kiana Ramirez, Zavian Ramirez, Etzli Ramirez, Derek Brocamontes, Avrian Brocamontes and Evan Brocamontes; two great grandchildren: Aria and Dominick Gonzales; half sister: Gloria Rodriguez; half brothers: Martin, Albert, Benny and Juan Mendoza all of Portales, NM.
