Catherine Coffin

Catherine Coffin 92 passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006 in Dumas, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Ulrey, pastor of First Baptist Church of Cactus-Etter officiating. Burial will be at Dumas Cemetery. Catherine was born October 12, 1914 in Hamilton County, Texas. On May 9, 1937 in Ranger, Texas she married Bert Coffin who preceded her in death on July 4, 1981. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Dumas since 1988. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. Survivors are one daughter; Judy Slaton and husband, Bill of Pagosa Springs, CO.; five grandchildren; Kim, Kathy, Mike, Amy and Angie; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and special friends John and Rena Scoggins of Dumas.
