Charlene A. Anderson 76 passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 in Wabash, Indiana. Rosary will be at 7:30PM, March 10, 2008 at McDonald Funeral Home, Eddingfield Chapel in Wabash. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, March 11, 2008 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Largo with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will follow in Falls Cemetery in Wabash.
Charlene Anderson was born June 16, 1931 in Urbana, Indiana to John and Louise Hornaday. She was a graduate of Wabash High School with the class of 1949. On August 12, 1950 she married Paul A. Anderson in the St. Patricks Catholic Church in Largo. She was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church in Wabash, Rosary Sodality, Friends of St. Patricks and had been a Brownie Leader. Charlene had worked in the deli at Clarks Finer Foods for over 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed quilting, going to the Wagon Wheel Theater, her cat Celia, doll collecting and her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a compassionate caregiver to her husband. Charlene was a fighter and survivor of cancer.
Survivors include; her husband, Paul of the home; son, Dan Anderson and wife, Carolyn of Wabash; daughters, Connie Holmes and husband, Jerry, Nancy Hall and husband, Mike, Deb Jacobs all of Wabash, Pam Satrom and husband, Ron of Logansport, and Bev Huffman Krom and husband, Chris of North Manchester; one brother and one sister; nineteen grandchildren which includes, Abbie Huffman and companion Mark Warrick, Josh Huffman and wife Genta, and Indie Huffman all of Amarillo; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
