Charles Harbour, 73 of Stratford, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Glenn White, officiating and Rev. Steve Ulrey, assisting. Interment will follow at Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Stratford.
Charles was born on January 31, 1942 in Lampasas, TX to Aaron and Florence (Browning) Harbour. He was a resident of Stratford since 1968. On April 19, 1968, he was united in marriage to Juanice Russell in Guymon, OK; she preceded him in death in 2008.He was a member of First Baptist Church in Stratford.
Charles was a hardworking man. He owned and operated Texas Electric Company in Stratford for over 35 years. He loved spending times outdoors especially hunting and skiing. In his younger days, he enjoyed dirt bike riding. Charles will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Juanice he is preceded in death by his parents; sons: Leon Harbour and Brett Faris; and his brothers: A.J. and Tommy Harbour.
Charles is survived by his sons: Rusty Harbour and wife Gara and Chuck Harbour and wife Angela all of Stratford; daughters Virginia Reynolds and husband Richard of Bernalillo, NM and Vickie Harbour of Ruidoso, NM; brother: Marshall Harbour and wife Donna of Ft. McKavett, TX; sister: Allie Horn and husband Jim of Carlsbad, NM; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 409 S Chestnut.
