Charles Marion Stewart 69 passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Dumas, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Sunray Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Martin, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church of Dalhart officiating. Burial will be at Texline Cemetery, Texline, Tx.. Charles Marion Stewart was born October 20, 1937 in Perico, Texas to Anna Lunora and Robert Marion Stewart. On October 17, 1956 he married Carol Ann Lamb in Clayton, NM. He retired from Colorado Interstate Gas Co. where he had worked 23 years. Charles loved his family and enjoyed the game of football. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Adrian Rodriguez and a great-granddaughter, Kaley Stewart Survivors include: his wife, Carol of the home; son, Roger Stewart and wife, Gwen of Sunray, TX; two daughters, Brenda Rodriguez and husband, Roberto of Canyon, TX, and Janet Perkins and husband, James of Sedan, NM; sister MaryLue Winsor and husband, Henry of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Disease, Panhandle Chapter, 2200 W. 7th, Amarillo, TX 79106. The family will be at 716 E. 5th in Sunray. .
