Clemencia Lopez

Clemencia Lopez, 57 of Gruver, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 oclock in the morning on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas with Pastor Seferino Ibarra officiating. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Lopez will be available for viewing on Tuesday from 5 oclock until 8 oclock in the evening and again on Wednesday from 4 oclock until 8 oclock in the evening in Morrison Memorial Chapel. Clemencia was born on June 11, 1963 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Angel and Inosentia Lechuga Ortiz. She married Vidal Lopez in 1980 in Chihuahua, Mexico and the couple had made Gruver their home for the last nine years. Clemencia was an excellent homemaker and a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She was also known for being a great friend. She was of Christian Faith. Clemencia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Santos Oritz. Clemencia is survived by her husband, Vidal, of the home; children: Zandy Lopez and husband Noel Prieto of Overland Park, KS, Carmen Lopez and companion Pablo Martinez of Mexico and Francisco Lopez of Gruver, TX; special nephew, Jason Melendez of the home; grandchildren: Kimberly Prieto, Isaac Prieto, Natalie Prieto and Mahetzy Martinez; siblings: Rosa, Angel, Cirila, Celerina, Olivia, Micaela and Jacinto; numerous other extended family members.
