Colleen Brannan, 90, formerly of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Brent Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Colleen was born June 25, 1927 in Bristow, Oklahoma before moving to Merced California with her family. She was a war bride of 56 years with her husband Edward Brannan. He preceded her in death in 2000. They raised their family in Stratford where they were active in church and community. They later moved to Dumas around 1980.
Survivors include a son, Danny and Linda Brannan of Dumas and a daughter, Neta and Quintin Clark of Whitehouse Texas. She was blessed with Grandchildren and great grandchildren who remember her for her love, sense of humor and a kitchen full of baked bread and cherry cobblers.
