Dale Rosser, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Dumas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 21, 2008 at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Dale Rosser was born July 5, 1913 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Jess and Celestine Rosser. During WWII he served in the US Army Air Corps from 1943 thru 1945. He married Nora Thompson of England and she preceded him in death. He then married Ada Perry of Mesquite and she also preceded him in death. He worked for Southwestern Public Service until his retirement in 1978. Mr. Rosser was a member of the VFW and the American Legion and had been a resident of Dumas more than 75 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gale Rosser and sister, Irene Utley. Survivors include; sons, Anthony Tony E. Rosser of Jefferson, MO, and Larry Paul Rosser of Scottsdale, AZ; niece, Socony Thomas of Corpus Christi; 5 grandchildren; and long time friend and caregiver, Gloria Woodman of Dumas.
