Daniel Torres Flores

Daniel Flores, 60, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Lubbock, Texas. Daniel will lie in state at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas on Saturday, August 13, 2011, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Rosary will be said at 7:30 P.M. on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church in Dumas. The funeral mass is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Arthur Rodriguez as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Daniel was born on November 8, 1950 in Knox City, Texas to Andres and Rosa Flores. He resided in Dumas for the past thirtyfour years. He was a member of Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church. Daniel was a man of all trades and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Rosa Flores, his sister, Socorro Rios, his brother, John Flores, and a nephew, Joe Bob Cobos. Daniel is survived by one daughter, Kalyn Flores and husband Nick four sons, Andy Garcia of Dumas, Marcelino Zambrano of Albuquerque, NM, Armando Flores and Daniel Flores Jr., both of Casper, WY three brothers, Ector Flores, Maurico Flores and Andy Flores, all of Dumas four sisters, Ignatia Flores, Yolanda Flores, Andrea Williams, and Annie Cobos and husband Robert, all of Dumas and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will be at 702 Beard in Dumas.
