Daniel Frescas

Daniel Frescas, 69 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Israel Frescas, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Daniel was born on January 7, 1954, to Daniel Frescas Mendez and Guadalupe Carrasco Hernandez in Juarez, Mexico. He moved to Dumas in 1988 where he worked at JBS for 34 years until his retirement.  He also was a very good mechanic.  Daniel loved music and playing the guitar.  However, his greatest hobby was his children, he adored them and his grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Maria of the home; children: Morayma Robles and husband Roberto, Brenda Vela and Leo Sr., Daniel Frescas III, Celina Cota and husband Alejandro and Alejandro Saul Frescas all of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Leopoldo Vela, Jr., Margarita Robles, Paloma Robles, Isaac Vela, Valeria Robles, Diego Vela, Alejandro Cota, Jr., Gael Frescas, Santiago Daniel Cota, Dylan Damian Cota; siblings: Raul Frescas, Luli Nava, Evangelina Barron, Israel Frescas, and Rosa Cervantes.
