Danny Eugene Daniels

Danny Eugene Daniels, 90 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Memorial services are scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Nazarene Church with Pastor Steve Swanson officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Danny was born on December 18, 1931, in Shattuck, OK. He graduated from Dumas High School at the age of 17, he then enlisted in the U.S. Army and reached the rank of Sgt. Danny married Barbara Mitchell in 1986 and they were married for 36 years. Danny was a hardworking man. He worked for Natural Gas Pipeline for 32 years until his retirement. Danny was also a very skilled carpenter and was a handyman that would help widows with their houses. Most important to Danny was his family and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife: Shirley Ann Daniels; daughter: Carolyn Wynette Daniels; parents: Ray and Jennie Daniels; daughter-in-law: Julie Mitchell; 10 brothers and sisters.

Danny is survived by his loving wife Barbara of the home; daughters: Vicky Sue Robles and husband Joe of Carrizo Springs, TX and Denise Daniels of Leander, TX; Barbara’s children: Dan Belk and wife Blanca of Amarillo, TX, John Belk and wife Jackie of Dumas, TX, Marte Mitchell and wife Fonda of Sunset, TX, and Brenda Mitchell of Sunset, TX; brother: Tommy Daniels of Oregon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
