Darrell Hayes

Darrell Hayes, 87 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Gunter Cemetery in Gunter, TX. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Darrell was born on January 16, 1934 in Grayson County, Gunter, TX to Roy and Eula (Redwine) Hayes. He married Mary Lois on March 21, 1986; she preceded him in death on August 18, 2021. He loved to trade and sell and always enjoyed a good bargain. Darrell would spend most of his time tinkering with something. He loved working and cattle. Darrell is survived by his two children: Darren Hayes and wife Kelly of Dumas, TX and Linda Heckler and husband Donnie of Crosby, TX; and many grandchildren.
