Dayne Colby J. Meyer

Dayne Colby J. Meyer, 36 of Amarillo and formerly of Dumas, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.  Funeral services are scheduled for 1:11 P.M. on Saturday November 11, 2023, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Justin Wehunt officiating.   Private burial will be held in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors.

Colby was born on April 9, 1987, in Dumas, TX to Don and Patty (Harlow) Meyer.  He grew up in Dumas where he graduated from Dumas High School in 2005 and later attended Wyotech where he graduated top of his class in fabrication.  Colby married Beverly Clark on September 1, 2012, in Dumas and to this marriage three children were born.  Colby was excellent at his trade and owned Sinister Racecraft in Amarillo. He loved RC racing and race car driving. Colby was a very giving person and volunteered countless hours at the Faith City Mission. Colby had many dear friends, but he especially loved spending time with his boys; he was an excellent father. Colby was of Christian Faith and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jack and Genevieve Meyer and Coke and Doris Harlow.

Colby is survived by his sons: Daxon Clark Meyer, Greyson Dayne Meyer, Coleson Jack Meyer along with their loving mother Beverly Clark;  father: Don Meyer of Coffeyville, KS; mother: Patty Meyer of Dumas, TX; sister: Brittnee Meyer of Dumas, TX; nephew: Trintyn Hastey; aunts: Kim Harlow of Amarillo, TX, Jackie and John Mowder of Coffeyville, TX, Cindy and LeRoy Gutierrez of Canyon, TX; cousin: Michael Hudson of Coffeyville, TX.
