Deborah Debbie Forester, 58, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jerry Howe, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Debbie Forester was born April 28, 1951 in Pampa, Texas to Hoyt and Frances Taylor. She graduated from White Deer High School in 1969. On June 4, 1971 she married the love of her life James Pete Forester in White Deer. Debbie was a beloved and devoted wife, mother and Nana. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1972 and was a member of First Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1996 and a daughter, Rebecca Sue in 1973.
Survivors include; her husband Pete of the home; daughters, Shannon Steinman and husband Roger of Murphy, Jennefier Allison and husband Matt of Dumas; mother, Frances Taylor of Dumas; mother-in-law, Ruby Forester of Dumas; brother, Andy Taylor of Amarillo; sisters, Cindy Walton and husband Freddy of Saginaw, Tammy Harmsen and husband Richard of Mt. Pleasant, Christi Babbs and husband Craig of McKinney; grandchildren, Timothy, Rabeka, Brooke and Briana.
The family suggests memorials be to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Panhandle Chapter, 6222 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109 or the Ann Shore Memorial Scholarship, co First United Methodist church, PO Box 395, Dumas,TX. 79029.
The family will be at 301 Cedar or 1302 N.E. 5th in Dumas.
