Deborah Ellen Willis, 68 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Change of Heart Church, formerly Hunt Memorial Methodist Church, with Pastor Keith Hight, pastor of the church officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Debbie was born on May 14, 1955, to Henry and Betty (Davis) Ball. The family moved to Dumas when Debbie was young and she graduated from Dumas High School in 1973. She met and married Danny Willis on Sept 28, 1973, in Dumas. Debbie had worked for Moore County Schools Credit Union for 41 years until her retirement.
Debbie's favorite hobbies included crafting, painting, especially Bob Ross painting, and sewing. She was an avid OU Sooners fan. Debbie was also a member of Change of Heart Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: brother: Rusty Ball; sister-in-law: Adean Mathis.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Danny, of the home; sons: Greg Willis and wife Mandi of Amarillo, TX, D.R. Willis of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Makenzi Willis, Gunnar Willis, Amara Willis, Kirt Willis; sister: Chris Voelker and husband Dennis of Dumas, TX; nephew: Brady Voelker and wife Stephanie of Dumas, TX; niece: Dusty Holt and husband Bill of Dumas, TX; sisters-in-law: Imajean Winton of Stonewall, OK, Ruby Seamster of Ada, OK, Ann Willis of Ada, OK; brother-in-law: Neal Willis of Gainesville, TX along with numerous other extended family members.
