Debra Ann Medina, 58 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Tuesday, November 24th at Iglesia Bautista Hispana with Rev. Ernesto Rodriguez, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Debra was born on June 5, 1957 to Robert and Angela (Razo) Garcia in Joliet, IL. She had been a resident of the community for 32 years. Debra was a registered nurse for many years and worked at BSA Hospital for 15 years and Moore County Hospital for 10 years. Debra was with the love of her life, Jose Fernando, for well over 40 years. She attended Iglesia Bautista Hispana and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Robert and Cleave Garcia and her favorite aunt: Juanita Serrato.
Debra is survived by her husband: Jose Fernando of Dumas; two daughters: Fernanda Leza and husband Jerry of Laredo and Olivia Medina and husband Gilbert Falcon of Dumas; five grandchildren: Gilbert Jr., Diego and Jonathan Falcon, and Natalie and Nathan Leza; one sister: Roberta Lopez of Dumas; one brother: Cyrus Garcia of Dumas, two aunts: Vera Martinez and Carmella Garcia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be at 1005 Shamrock Dr.
