Delfino L. Valenzuela Jr., 70, of Odessa, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 28, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Delfino Leija Valenzuela Jr. was born in Presidio, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Delfino Valenzuela on the 22nd day of January 1950. Delfino married Maria Salazar in the year 2006 on the 28th day of September in Odessa, Texas. Delfino worked as a maintenance man at Carl Miles Food Service. He came to the knowing knowledge of Jesus Christ in Dumas, Texas at Templo Por La Fe pastored by Clara Dominguez.
Delfino is preceded in death by parents; Delfino Valenzuela and Luz Leija, sisters; Elpidia Flores, Guadalupe Suarez and Lydia Gonzales. Brothers; Elias, Hector, and Ernest Valenzuela and lastly his daughter Jennifer Lee Valenzuela.
Delfino is survived by: Spouse, Maria S. Valenzuela, sons; Robert (Lilly) Contreras, Pete (Sylvia) Contreras, Johnny (Maribel) Valenzuela, James P. Valenzuela (Elisa Baca), Lupito Contreras (Priscilla Orona), Mike Portillo,daughters; Martina Contreras (James Kelley Reeves), Mindy Renee Valenzuela (Miguel Quijada), 30 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, brothers; Henry Valenzuela, Roberto Valenzuela, Jose Alfredo Valenzuela. Sisters; Ester Cobos, and Janie Ramos.
Pallbearers will be Gilberto Valenzuela, Frank Flores III, Lupito Contreras, Mike Portillo, J..C. Valenzuela, Sixto Almanza.
Honorary Pallbearers: Henry Valenzuela, Beto Valenzuela, Jose Alfredo Valenzuela.
Memorials may be given to: Maria S Valenzuela and or Mindy Renee Valenzuela.
