Dennis Jordan

Dennis Jordan, 58, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in Dumas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Dennis Jordan was born August 11, 1951 in Dumas to Wilmer Alton and Edna Jordan. He attended and graduated from Dumas High School. He served in the US Navy and was a truck driver. Jordan enjoyed being outdoors and a game of pool. He had been a resident of Dumas all of his life. He was preceded in death by his father on August 22, 1990 and a sister, Linda Asberry on September 20, 2002. Survivors include; his mother, Edna of Dumas; sister, Francis Ver Wey and husband, Ole of Dumas; nieces, Tonya Roberts of Amarillo, Becky Martin of Elgin, Kristi OGorman and husband John of Stinnett; nephews, Shane Roberts and wife, Dawn of San Antonio, Scott Asberry of Iowa Park; and his constant companion, LuLu. The family will be at 123 Spruce in Dumas.
