Dicie Snitker

Dicie Snitker, 99, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 21, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel in Muleshoe with Rev. Sam White, pastor of North Plains Christian Church of Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Enochs Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Local arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Dicie Snitker was born April 5, 1911 in Grayson County. On December 11, 1927 she married C.C. Clifford Snitker. He preceded her in death in October 1992. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Enochs and worked in the church nursery for many years. She was also preceded in death by two sons, J.C. and Stanley Snitker. Survivors include her son, Curtis Snitker of Hart a brother, Ray Shults of Pampa 11 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren, and 10 greatgreatgrandchildren. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to all of the staff at Memorial Hospice and Memorial Nursing and Rehab for their care and concern for Dicie during her illness. The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029 or to Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation, 302 E. 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029.
