Donna Lynn Hoffman, 59, of Dumas, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, August 19, 2019. A memorial service is scheduled for September 7, 2019 at 2 oclock in the afternoon at Living Water Christian Fellowship, Canyon, TX with Pastor Shane Nease officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Donna was born April 11, 1960 in Greeley, CO to James and Bonnie (Ironfield) Rodney. After graduating from Central High School in Greeley she attended college in Victorville, California and graduated from there as a medical assistant. She worked for many years as a medical assistant for Family Medical Center in Canyon. Donna met and married her husband, David Hoffman on February 22, 2003 in Amarillo, TX. After raising their family in Canyon, TX, they made their way to Dumas following his work. Donna was a wonderful wife and mother who enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She was of the Christian faith and truly enjoyed being with her Christian family. Her sister Kelli always held a special place in her heart. Spending time with her grandchildren and travelling to the mountains was her favorite pastime. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Donna is survived by her husband David of the home and children: Melissa and Kyle Gleisberg Withrow of Greely, CO; Andrew and Melissa Gleisberg of Deleware, OH; Christopher Gleisberg of Amarillo, TX; Dustin and Melinda Hoffman, and Derek and Carrie Hoffman all of Canyon, TX. She is also survived by 3 sisters and 3 brothers; 8 darling grandchildren and many other friends and loved ones.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Donnas name to BSA Hospice of the Southwest, 5211 SW 9th Ave Ste. 100, Amarillo, TX 79106
