Duane R. Dodd

Duane R. Dodd 88 of Dumas passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas. No services are scheduled. Duane R. Dodd was born July 10, 1918 in Red Oak, Iowa. On September 8, 1940 he married Cloma E. Edie. He served in the US Army during WWII, 1941-1945 and was a POW. He also served 4 years in the National Guard. Duane had been a resident of Dumas since 1947 and had worked for Natural Gas Pipeline Co. 33 years before retiring. He was a member of First Christian Church in Red Oak, Iowa. Survivors include: his wife, Cloma of the home; daughter, Landa King of Seguin, TX; son, Jaceson Dodd of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Melissa, Eric; and eight great-grandchildren.
