Claudette Rodgers

Eddie Claudette Rodgers, 81, formerly of Levelland, Dumas, and Weatherford, peacefully went to be with her Lord Jesus on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She will be laid to rest in Levelland, TX, at a private gathering. Services are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors in Dumas.

Claudette was born on January 24, 1944 in Littlefield, TX to Claud and Lenice (Burton) Laney. She grew up in Whiteface where she graduated High School. She loved her girls and her grandkids dearly. Throughout her life, she enjoyed bowling, cooking and baking, jewelry, animals, growing plants, and loved getting her hair and nails done. Those that knew her well would say she was very sweet, with a little sass…a trait she happily passed down to her daughters and grandchildren.

Claudette is survived by her daughters: Teresa Cox (and husband, Chris Cox) of Alvarado, TX, Beverley Wood (and husband, Chris Wood) of Hobbs, NM, and Rebecca Cornelius of Haslet, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren: Krystal Smith, Kasie Jones, Calley Sanders, Courtney Taylor, Hailey Cornelius-Yant, Ember (Abbie) Cornelius, Josh Cornelius, and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie Russell of Lubbock, TX, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Al Burrow, and sister, Wilma Samsel. 

She is loved and will be missed by many.
