Edmar Valenciano, 24, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010. Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 4, at Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, May 5, at the church with Fr. Marco Gonzalez, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Edmar was born May 31, 1985 in Mexico to Arturo and Alma Valenciano. He had been a resident of Moore County for 18 years and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He worked as a floor hand on area oil drilling rigs. He was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Valenciano in 1993. Survivors include his parents, Arturo and Alma Valenciano of the home sister, Anahi Valenciano of the home son Edmar Valenciano Jr. of Amarillo, daughter, Kayleen Valenciano of Dumas, grandfather, Herman Erives of Mexico and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will be at 313 E. 13th in Dumas.
