Edmundo Ortiz

Edmundo Ortiz, 51 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 o’clock in the morning on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Edmundo was born on November 27, 1973, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Heriberto Ortiz and Maria Moncerrat Paez. On September 15, 2000, he married Claudia Rodriguez in Chihuahua, Mexico. Edmundo worked for Dean Cluck Feedyard. He was a hardworking, good man; he was a true example of a family man. Edmundo loved cookouts where he could spend time with his family. He enjoyed listening to music, singing, and dancing. Edmundo was an amazing father and will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Edmundo is survived by his loving wife, Veronica of the home; daughters: Daniela and Allison Ortiz both of the home; sisters: Rose Isela Ortiz and Zulema Ortiz both of Chihuahua; nieces and nephew: Luz Olivia Sigala, Nallely Sigala, Martin Sigala all of Chihuahua, Mexico.
