Edna May Green

Edna May Green, 90 of Dumas, formerly of Alamosa, CO, passed away on Monday January 20, 2025. She will be laid to rest in Arizona. Cremation is under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Edna was born on July 31, 1934, in Glendale, AZ to W. Bryan and Nancy May (Kirkpatrick) Thompson. She married Max D Green Jr. in Glendale, AZ, he preceded her in death. Edna was a homemaker and a 4 H leader. She was also a member of the Church of Christ in Alamosa, Colorado where she taught Bible Class.

In addition to her husband, Edna is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

Edna is survived by her children: William Green of Atlanta, GA, Michael Green of Dumas, TX, Monti McCanless of Fowler, CO, Guy Green of Plymouth, MI and Angela Hardy of Rockledge FL; and 11 grandchildren; siblings: Melvin Thompson, Bertha Sharp, Martha Strickler all of Glendale, AZ. 

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Memorial Nursing and Rehab Activity Fund.
