Edna Lynn McKown

Edna Lynn McKown, 91 of Cactus, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with her son, Gary McKown, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Edna was born on November 3, 1920, in Crowell, TX to Edwin and Serena Thompson. She was united in marriage to Paul McKown in 1937 in Crowell, TX. He preceded her in death. Edna had been a resident of Cactus for 60 years. She was a member of Cactus Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Edna is survived by two sons: Gary and Bob McKown one daughter: Leesa Sims two granddaughters: Laura McKown and Serena Hail and one grandson: Sean McKown.
