Elaine Bennett

Elizabeth Elaine Bennett, 68 of Dumas, died Saturday, October 30, 2010. A Family Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev John Sanders, minister of the church, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Elaine was born September 28, 1942 in Vernon TX to Vaughn and Gay Evans. On June 24th, 1960, she was united in marriage to Roger Bennett at Farmers Valley Methodist Church. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Dumas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jack Evans. She is survived by her husband Roger of the home, her daughter Dory Bennett two sons, Dale Bennett and wife Doris, Marvin Bennett and Maria Ossorio a brother Jimmy Evans, a sister Marie Bennett and husband Wayne, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. T he family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity, The family will be at 302 N Bliss.
